South Cardiff Football Club was founded in 1964 and is a semi-professional football club based in Newcastle, Australia.
The club competes in the Northern League One, Premier Youth League & Junior Development League competitions with teams from Under 9's through to first grade men.
The Gunners have recently been awarded the Northern League One Club of the Year for 2023.
Our home field is Ulinga Oval, Cardiff South.

South Cardiff is a club that has a defined player development plan focused of developing each player individually so they can take advantage of our clear and defined pathways from Junior Development League all the way into senior football with our Northern League One squads.

Who are We?
South Cardiff Football Club is a semi-professional football club known as "The Gunners" after the London Club, Arsenal.
The club in its current form celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2014 although there is historical records of South Cardiff Football Club back to the 1930's. South Cardiff hold a historic record being the first team to score in the Australia Cup Round of 32. In 2015, South Cardiff were relegated to the Northern NSW State League Division 1.
Our most recent season in 2023 was successful. Our premier youth league teams earnt promotion into the next tier of football, providing our club with greater exposure and our senior boys were successful enough to make the grand final, a game that was streamed live on BarTV to thousands of people.
Northern NSW Football have recently reinstated promotion and relegation providing The Gunners with the opportunity to earn promotion back into the regions top league, National Premier Leagues (NPL) Northern NSW.

In 2024 we will have approximately 170 registered players who receive a sponsor’s brochure from the club, outlining the sponsors and the services that they offer. We actively encourage our players to support our sponsors.
Our club and players are active on all forms of social media and we encourage our players to like, tag, share and re-post sponsors products, announcements and articles.
The multiplying effect of social media is enormous and using the players at SCFC is an excellent way to extend your social media reach.
On match day we have average home crowds of around 300 with an additional 140 home and away players and officials.
All sponsorships may be tax deductible; however, you should confirm with your tax advisor.
As a sponsor of the club you will also receive free advertising on our Business Plaza and Social Media as well as at all Club Events.
